Day 1 Nairobi – Maasai Mara

Pick up from your hotel at 0730 hrs and drive via the scenic Great Rift Valley, to the Mara Reserve arriving in good time for lunch. Afternoon game drive is taken. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge

Day 2 & 3: Masai Mara

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the Big 5. Dinner and overnight at Mara Serena Lodge

Day 4: Masai Mara – Serengeti National park

After breakfast, we depart with picnic boxes for the border town of Isebania and after clearing immigration formalities change driver and vehicle and cross the border for the journey to Serengeti National Park undoubtedly the most famous wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequalled for its natural beauty and has the greatest concentration of plains game anywhere! Dinner and overnight stat at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 5: Serengeti National Park

Full day spent exploring the park in search of the big 5. Morning and afternoon game drives are offered. Dinner and overnight stay at Serengeti Serena Lodge

Day 6: Serengeti – Ngorongoro conservation area via Oldivai gorge

After breakfast and with picnic boxes and proceed for further game drives -we visit Olduvai Gorge and learn about the 1.8 million-year-old fossil discoveries of Louis and Mary Leakey which forever changed our view of early man.

Continue your journey to Ngorongoro the largest intact caldera in the world and our home tonight is Ngorongoro Serena perched on the jagged rim of the world’s oldest caldera. Created from river-stone and cloaked in indigenous creepers, this superlative lodge blends effortlessly into its surrounds. In the later afternoon we check into the Ngorongoro Serena Lodge for dinner and a welcome rest. Meal plan is full board.

Day 7 :Ngorongoro Crater tour

Descend the crater soon after breakfast for a full day crater tour with packed lunches – ascend for dinner and overnight stay at Ngorongoro Serena lodge beautifully set by the crater rim for dinner and overnight stay

Day 8 : Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara

Breakfast then exit the park and drive to Lake Manyara National park. Explore the park famed for tree climbing lions. Picnic lunch is offered . Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Manyara serena Lodge

Day 9 : Lake Manyara – Arusha-Nairobi – Departure

Early breakfast then view game as you exit the park and drive to Arusha – lunch at Kibo palace hotel then board and afternoon shuttle bus to Nairobi or drop off at the airport to board your home bound flight.
